Had just found GC5KGJR and saw another cache was close on the other side of the railroad tracks so off tammy_b and I trotted. Well, she trotted and told me to hurry up, we were losing the light.

Over the tracks, through the fields and … a barbed wire fence. It’s always something. I’ve lost 40 pounds but not enough to scoot under the wire that close to the ground. tammy_b was gracious and we decided to get the bunch on the other side another day.

We jogged back over the tracks to beat the train. It feels like forever when you’re stuck on the wrong side, waiting for one to pass and we had places to go.

I looked back, the sunset already dying the skies in pinks and purples. The train, a busy bee, rushed by in a hurry to some place just like us. Well, tammy more so. I was a tad busy snapping.

Couldn’t miss the train. It was pretty loud. But I thought it was cool. Trains always make me think of Johnny Cash songs.
