Geocaching in Tucson : space station mosaic

Written by:

GC6912P. Chuck Ford Lakeside Park, Tucson, Arizona.

These space station mosaics grace the ends of the bridge that shoots over where the water runs under Stella. They look childlike so I wonder if the children from nearby Inez C. Ford Elementary school helped somehow.

I love how geocachers often put their caches near city art.  This cache was a tiny nano container so it was a little tricky to find but I did.

Down below I saw a fisherman walk by.

I originally posted my photo and text on Instagram. I am backdating posts until I catch up to today’s date.

The t-shirt is the first in a series I am starting, inspired by my experiences in geocaching.

The price remains the same whether you use an affiliate link or go directly to Amazon by yourself.

I thought it was fun too. Funny thing is it’s in a park close to my neighborhood that I’ve walked by dozens of times but I never noticed the mosaic until I went geocaching.
