Geocaching in Tucson : Perils of Schlumpfine!

esiem32’s Schlumpfine travel bug (TB4Y8A2) is walking with me from Desert Critter #1 (GC6Z85D) to Desert Critter #4 (GC70CKM), hanging out with the Arizona desert cactus.

Look how long and sharp the thorns are! (I hate getting them in my shoe! ouch! ouch! ouch!)

I hang the Smurfette up on a thorn so I can take a photo.  Uh oh!  It looks like she’s in danger!  Makes me think of the 1914 movie serial The Perils of Pauline where Pauline faced harrowing danger each episode but was rescued or escaped each episode. Pauline sets off to have adventures because she hopes to become an author one day.  Traveling is a great way to gather the experience that can enliven your writing.  And off she goes.  Just like esiem32’s Schlumpfine.

Arizona cactus is very different than the German forests that Schlumpfine came from. I think it would be cool to see the forests although I don’t know if I’d like to hang from a tree.

Also appeared on instagram @cactus_catz  although I’ve added a little more here. Note: I’ll be backdating this entry as I am putting all my geocaching instagram posts on Cactus Dreams so am catching up to where I am today. Affiliate disclosures on the bottom.
